Living in Nashville, there is nothing more memorable than the downtown scene being captured in your wedding photos. This intimate light-filled downtown Nashville wedding at Noelle had the main goal of being an close-knit dinner party for family and friends before diving into new adventures and moving across the country. Still wishing for a traditional wedding feel with some tweaks, MacKenzie and Hunter easily decided on the beautifully historic Noelle, a hotel just off of the center of it all.
When MacKenzie first spoke with me about her wedding day, there were 3 words that stuck out and stayed: intimate dinner party. Everything was guided by that phrase! Keeping the guest list limited was highly important, and we stuck to 45 attendees.
With many larger options gracing the Nashville wedding scene, it seemed only natural to pick Noelle for the entire day. See the full list of amazing wedding vendors below:

Getting Ready in the Suite
Easing into blue elements, MacKenzie picked dainty accessories to express her style.
Shortly after the look was perfected, a first look with her dad was needed. After the reveal, MacKenzie was the final one to ensure her dad had his tie. Her mom and Matron of Honor were not far behind in tears witnessing this priceless moment.

First Look with the Groom
Being so central to downtown, a first look with the bride and groom with wedding party photos at the Nashville Public Library was mandatory. With its short walk from Noelle and the light, airy environments, MacKenzie and Hunter decided to meet there. Upon the sweeping marble staircase, these two shared this intimate moment.
Ceremony in Saidee Gallery
For the ceremony in the Saidee Gallery at the hotel, Echoes of Eden created an organic, whimsical, and textural floral design framing the windows at the end of the aisle. The florals included tulips, poppies, roses, and made a significant point to include spring wildflowers. This asymmetrical and cascading installation enveloped the couple as they made their vows.
Before the ceremony, Noelle gave them exclusive access to their rooftop bar, Rare Bird.
Once it was time for the ceremony, MacKenzie actually chose to keep the altar arrangement a secret reveal for herself as she walked down the aisle.
Wedding Ceremony
Immediately after their joyful walk back down the aisle, I had signature cocktails waiting so they could celebrate with a “Cheers!”
Cocktail Hour in the Trade Room
Choosing two signature cocktails, their guests had a full peek into their personal tastes while they were serenaded by Ansar Violin.
Glowy Candlelit Reception
As cocktail hour allowed guests to chat and mingle, we transformed Saidee Gallery into an intimate dinner party. With bud vases and glowing tangerine tape candles, we mixed in blue with water glasses at each place setting.
Before their guests were welcomed into the space, MacKenzie and Hunter took a moment to witness it themselves. The gallery glowed and guests then sat down to a plated meal with custom menus and full of lively conversation. As bride and groom made their debut and first dances, each were able to have length conversations with everyone who attended.
Of course, MacKenzie did not miss a moment to put on her bridal slippers to create an ease and comfort for the rest of her evening. She also took great advantage of the windowsills lining the gallery. Perching herself among them, her dress cascaded down.

Kind Words from the Bride
Have you read the review from MacKenzie and Hunter about Philocalist Designs? Don’t miss it below:
“McKayla did an absolutely incredible job with the month-of-coordination of our wedding! She is organized and proficient at her job and also incredibly kind and easy to work with. Once we were about 60 days out, she started managing all of the communication/contracts with the vendors and made my life a breeze leading up to the wedding. I never once doubted that she did not have things under control and our day ran so smoothly! Everyone commented on how it was one of the most organized weddings they had been to, and I can assure you, it was because of her! She truly made all the ideas I had in my head for this wedding come to life and I am so grateful to have had her be part of our day. If you are looking for assistance with your wedding planning or coordinating, I would HIGHLY recommend McKayla! She goes above and beyond and you will definitely not be disappointed!”
